IPL 2023: CSK Won by 49 runs, Now on the Top of IPL Points Table and Ajinkya Rahane played a magnificent Inning as he knocked 71 runs in just 29 balls whereas Devon Conway and Shivam Dube scored 56 and 50 runs, respectively.
Jason Roy has played good cricket and scored 61 runs whereas Rinku Singh Has also scored 53 runs. Tushar and Maheesh took two wickets each whereas Kulwant has taken two wickets from KKR side.
KKR tried but couldn’t make it:
In the Second Inning, Jason Roy came in the 8th over and showed an aggressive inning and scored 61 runs with a Phenomenal strike rate of 234.62 and hit five sixes and five fours, whereas Rinku Singh also played another good inning and scored 53 runs at a strike rate of 160.61.
He knocked sixes and fours. Venkatesh Iyer showed good intent and tried to continue his form but didn’t convert into a big inning and scored 20 runs, whereas KKR skipper, Nitish Rana, scored 27 runs.
CSK bowlers take advantage of huge target:
Tushar Deshpande bowled a good spell and took two wickets but gave 43 runs, which is quite high, whereas Maheesh Theekshana has also taken two wickets and gave only 32 runs.
Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, Akash Singh and Matheesha Pathirana took one wicket each and interestingly, no CSK bowlers who bowled in this match took a wicket and at last, CSK won
CSK scored a Massive 235 runs on board and hence CSK Won:
Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad started well and gave CSK a Good start. Both Utilized the powerplay and scored 59 runs in it. Ruturaj got out in the 8th by scoring 35 runs at a strike rate of 175.00, whereas Devon Conway played another impressive knock of 56 runs with a strike rate of 140.00 and hit three sixes and four fours.
Ajinkya Rahane, a beautiful inning from him, scored 71 runs in just 29 balls at a strike rate of 244.83 with five sixes and six fours. Shivam Dube also showed his power-hitting ability and Knocked 50 runs with a strike rate of 238.10 and five sixes.
KKR Bowlers Cracked Down By CSK Batters:
KKR bowlers gave many runs in the first inning, and CSK batters kept hitting the boundaries and putting pressure on the bowlers from the start.
Kulwant Khejroliya took two wickets but gave 44 runs in four over spell, whereas Suyash Sharma and Varun Chakravarthy took one wicket each.
