The BCCI and IPL governing authority decided to postpone IPL IPL 2021 season with immediate effect on 3rd May 2021. You must be wondering when and where the rest of the IPL 2021 matches will be played. Here you will get IPL 2021 re-schedule details, new schedule, when and where all you need to know.

Update: IPL 2021 Dates Announced, IPL To Begin On September 19, Final On October 15

Update: BCCI freezes the IPL 2021 remaking matches scheduled between September’19 and October’15 2021.

The major challenge is the Window as there are back to back cricket matches and T202 World cup 2021 is also there from 18 October 21.

There are 31 matched left in IPL 2021 including league, eliminator and final match. Let’s see the options BBCI has to complete IPL season 14 in 2021.

IPL 2021 Schedule Option 1: September and October Window

India and England’s series ends on 14 September and the T20 world cup starts on 18 October so there are 33 days of windows. With at least 10 doubleheaders, all the pending 31 IPL matches can be completed in 21 days means before 1 week of the World Cup.

Where: UAE will be the most promising option for BCCI and the T20 world cup 2021 may also shift to UAE Dubai.

Challenge: In this short window organizing the IPL matches could be difficult. On the other side, there is a big event T20 World cup and INDIA teams must need ample time to get ready for the same. Also, overseas player availability will be very difficult due to the many other Cricket series at the same time.

IPL 2021 Schedule Option 2: Late November and December Window

There is another option to complete pending IPL 2021 matches after the T20 World Cup in the last week of November and December.

Where: BCCI needs to organize in India. The UK and Sri Lanka could be the other alternatives based on the current situation at that time.

Challenge: UAE Dubai is not available as at the same time UAE will host the fifth edition of the T10 league from 14 November.
