IND vs SL 3 Changes India should do in Playing XI to Test their bench strength
IND vs SL

IND vs SL: India won the first two games in the ongoing series, and it has helped them to take a 2-0 unassailable lead in the series. Now they will look to clean sweep this series after winning the final game.

The third IND vs SL T20I will take place on Tuesday (July 30) at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. The way India have performed so far, they are favorites to win this game as well. But with the series already in the bag, India should try out their bench strength.

Some reports confirm that Shubman Gill might miss the third match as well. So Sanju Samson might get another game. There are a few good players sitting on the bench as well.

IND vs SL: Three Changes India should do to their Playing XI for the Third T20I

3. Washington Sundar in, Axar out

Axar Patel has done a decent job in two matches with the ball. He is also likely to play all three ODIs against Sri Lanka. So India can give him a break here. India already have Washington Sundar waiting on the bench who can be a like-to-like replacement.

Sundar can also bowl at different stages of the game and is effective with the bat. He was the Player of the Tournament against Zimbabwe and hasn’t featured on this tour yet. So India should give him a chance in the final IND vs SL game.

2. Khaleel Ahmed in, Mohammed Siraj out

Mohammed Siraj has not bowled well in two games and taken only 1 wicket. He is an important part of the coming ODI series as well, so he needs to be fresh. That’s where India can look to rest him for the third game.

India can pick Khaleel Ahmed instead, as he also played in the Zimbabwe T20Is. The left-arm pacer is in good form, and India can give him a game in the coming match.

1. Shivam Dube in and Riyan Parag out

Riyan Parag has been decent in the series, as he took 3/5 in the first game and bowled decently. But it is his batting which hasn’t come good. He has been playing in place of Shivam Dube currently.

Dube is also part of the ODI series because Hardik is not available. That’s why it is important for him to adjust to the conditions. Hence, India can give him a chance in the last IND vs SL game in place of Parag.
