IND vs RSA: Following a thrilling conclusion to the T20i series, the emphasis now switches to India and South Africa’s three-match ODI series. The T20i series finished in a draw as India and South Africa both won one game, tying the series after the opening game was canceled due to rain.

With the T20i series done and dusted, India and South Africa are all set to take on each other in One Day International matches with the 1st ODI taking place tomorrow on Sunday, at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

The 26-year-old is in good form and he was the highest run-getter for Team India in the T20i series against the Aussies. He is also the lone specialist opener in the squad so he would be expected to get Team India off to a good start against the bowling attack of the Proteas.

Sai Sudharsan

Sai Sudharsan is expected to make his debut for India in the 1st ODI against South Africa and since no other specialist opener is there in the squad, Sai will be the 2nd opener.

He has been in good form and has scored tons of runs in domestic cricket and for India A. He was really good for the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023 and he would like to replicate his good form for India in the ODI series against The Proteas.

Rinku Singh

Rinku Singh is in the form of his life and he was really good in the T20i series against South Africa as he played a brilliant knock 68 runs from just 39 balls and he would be looking to replicate his T20i form in the ODI’s as well.

He proved that he is more than a finisher and can play according to the demands of the situation. He is expected to handle the middle order duties along with skipper KL Rahul.

Rassie Van Der Dussen

The Consistent Rassie Van Der Dussen is expected to play a crucial role for The Proteas against the Men in Blue. He was in top form in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023.

His ability to build the innings and play aggressive shots whenever the need arises makes him a formidable force against any team. He is the most experienced player in the team along with Aiden Markram and will be expected to guide the youngsters of The Proteas.

Kuldeep Yadav

Chinamen Kuldeep Yadav has been performing consistently for the Men in Blue ever since his comeback in the national team and was really good in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023 as he picked up 15 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 24.53.

He managed to take 5 wicket haul against South Africa in 3rd and the Final T20i game and expected to trouble the South African batters once again with his spin bowling.
