He was also named the Man of the Match for his match-winning effort.

After 48 matches, Virat Kohli had scored 1917 runs at an average of 47.92 with six centuries and 11 half-centuries. He had the highest score of 183.
We can clearly see that Gill has scored a lot more runs with a much higher average in 48 matches. Although both of them have the same number of centuries at this mark. However, Gill has a double century under his name. So, Gill definitely edges out Kohli after 48 ODIs.
