IND vs BAN: Former Pakistan player Basit Ali again made an unconventional claim, backing Pat Cummins for being the real curator of talents like Nitish Reddy and Abhishek Sharma.
The Indian side, led by currently announced skipper Suryakumar Yadav, took the lead forward for India against Bangladesh in the three-match T20I series. After the opening lot of batters suffered a huge setback, Indian rising star Nitish Kumar Reddy announced his commanding arrival into international cricket.
Reddy, who was seemingly a rookie inclusion in the Indian team, bagged the Player of the Match with a highly praised performance both with the bat and ball. Reddy scored a 27-ball half-century, which he took forward as he ended his innings with a blistering 34-ball 74-runs.
Both the youngsters from SRH made a commanding rise as they set their foot into international T20s in a commanding manner. Nitish backed his innings with 2 wickets in the later half as well.
Basit Ali had given the hidden credit behind their evolution to the Aussie World Cup-winning skipper Pat Cummins, who captained the two rising Indian superstars in the IPL franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad.

After the first T20I at Gwalior went in favour of the Indians, as their bowlers put on a stellar effort in the bowling department, the action shifted to Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi for the decider T20I, the second of the series.
Bangladesh skipper Shanto won the toss, as he sent the Indians to bat first. The openers, Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and also the skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, were sent off, thus reducing India to a 20/3 when all-rounders Reddy and Rinku came in to bat.
Reddy and Rinku both set the stage, as they batted fearlessly for their respective half-centuries and took India to a very respectable total of 221 at the end of their 20 overs.

Indian veteran all-rounder Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag added the required finishing touch to the innings with their cameos, which seemed a cherry on top of the perfect Indian innings.
While in the bowling front as well, NK Reddy took over the new ball from Pandya, and he struck twice after spinners Chakravarthy, Parag, Sundar, and Abhishek shared 5 wickets between them.
India secured a huge 86-run victory, as this match has sealed the series for the Indian side, with the last match probably being an opportunity for Gambhir and co. to carry out their unique combinations.
