ICC WTC Points Table 2023-25 Updated After Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test 2023, Pakistan Topped the List: Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in the Test series 2023 by a 2-0 margin. The first Test was played in Galle, where Pakistan won by four wickets. The second Test was played in Colombo, where Pakistan won by an innings and 222 runs.

The series was played from July 16 to July 28, 2023. Pakistan’s top performers in the series were Abdullah Shafique, who scored 238 runs in the first Test and 201 runs in the second Test, and Noman Ali took three wickets in the first Test and seven wickets in the second Test.

Pakistan’s victory over Sri Lanka helped them to hold their top spot in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table. They are now the only team with a 100% win record in the WTC 2023-25 cycle.

The first Test was played at the Galle International Stadium in Galle, Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka made 312 runs in their first innings, in which Dhananjaya de Silva scored 122 runs.

Pakistan responded with 461 runs in their first innings, and Saud Shakeel scored 208 runs. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 279 in their second innings, and Pakistani Bowler Noman Ali took three wickets. Pakistan chased down the target of 131 runs with four wickets remaining.

The second Test was played at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won the toss, and they decided to bat. Pakistan made 576/5 declared in their first innings, with Abdullah Shafique scoring 201 runs and Salman Ali Agha scoring 132 runs.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 166 and 172 in their two innings, with Noman Ali taking 11 wickets in the match. Pakistan won by an innings and 222 runs.
