Match Highlights

Pakistan defeated New Zealand by seven wickets in the first semi-final match. The New Zealand skipper won the toss and elected to bat first, Scoring 152 runs for four wickets. For New Zealand, Darrell Mitchell scored the highest run 53 in 35 balls and Kane Williamson scored 46 for New Zealand. Shaheen Afridi took two wickets for Pakistan while Mohammad Nawaz gets one wicket.

Chasing 153 runs, the opening pair Babar and Rizwan gave Pakistan a great start. Both of them made a partnership of 105 runs for the first wicket and laid the foundation for Pakistan’s victory. Babar scored 53 and Rizwan scored 57. In the end, Haris Rauf played an innings of 30 runs to take Pakistan to victory. Trent Boult took two wickets for New Zealand.
