Siraj took a five-wicket haul for the West Indies in the first innings of that match, while opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 57 and 38 in his second Test to reach a new career-high 63rd position in the batsmen’s list.
Mohammad Siraj is leading India’s Bowling attack: Jaiswal still has some room to make up on the world’s top hitters, with Williamson still leading the way despite some of his closest rivals making some eye-catching progress following the conclusion of the fourth Ashes Test in Manchester.
After his century at Old Trafford, Australia right-hander and former No.1 rated hitter Marnus Labuschagne jumped three places to second overall, while England trio Joe Root (up three slots to third), Harry Brook (up two places to 11th), and Zac Crawley (up 13 places to 35th) all made gains.
From an Ashes perspective, England pacemen Mark Wood (up three places to 23rd) and Chris Woakes (up five places to 31st) were the big movers in the Test bowlers’ list, with Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin still in the first place.
