ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-up Schedule: Fixtures, Match Details, Venues, Team List | ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024: The International Council for Cricket (ICC) announces the fixtures for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 which kickstarts from June 02, 2024. USA with West Indies hosting the mega event, the practice matches will be played at USA and Trinidad & Tobago.
A total of 17 teams are playing the warm-up games in the T20 World Cup 2024 including South Africa who will play an intra-squad practice match. Most of the high-ranking teams are playing practice games but Pakistan and England will not play a single practice game as they will be playing a four-match T20I bilateral series.
All the practice games will be of 20 overs per side but all the 15 players from the squad can play in the match. The teams will try to utilize most of these practices however there will be no pressure as it will be an actual game so we can’t judge the performance of players over these matches. But it will be good for the players to get used to the wickets and adjust themselves to the new environment.

The Indian Team will play their only practice match against Bangladesh in the USA on June 01 but the exact venue is yet to be announced by the ICC. As of now, Indian Players are playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 but the tournament will end in a couple of days. The Indian players will travel in two batches to the USA for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
The First batch will leave for the USA on May 25 whereas the second match will travel to the USA after the IPL 2024 Final on May 26. The first match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played between the host USA and Canada at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas.
