ICC Player Rankings Ahead of T20 World Cup 2024, Suryakumar Yadav Retains the top Spot and Pakistani Players Gained few Positions: In the latest ICC Player Rankings, a lot of players in the top 10 list have gained some positions whereas some have lost a few positions as well. Suryakumar Yadav has been retained as the no.1 T20I batter, he has been in this position for a long time and is expected to be in the same position for a couple of months as well. Many Indian players have jumped a few positions in the ICC Player Rankings like Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi in the latest ICC Men’s Bowling Rankings. However, West Indies key pacer Akeal Hossien lost five positions and now he is present at 8th spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings with a rating of 638. He hasn’t performed well in the past few matches which led him to get a lower position.
In the latest ICC Men’s Batting Rankings, Suryakumar Yadav is at first position with a rating of 861 whereas English batter Phil Salt has occupied second spot with a rating of 788. Phil Salt is chasing Suryakymar Yadav very fast and Salt might surpass Surya in the couple of upcoming T20I matches as his margin is now just 73 ratings.
Other Surya and Salt, Pakistani Key Batters Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan is present at 3rd and 4th spot in the ICC Player Rankings with a rating of 769 and 761. Both the players have played good cricket in the past few weeks and their form is very crucial for Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will start from June 02 and the first will be played between USA and Canada however, USA and West Indies are hosting the tournament this year. India will play their first match against Ireland on June 05 whereas the greatest rivalry of India and Pakistan will be seen on June 09.
