ENG vs AUS 2023: England Cricket Board (ECB) announces a strong 15-member Squad for the third Ashes test against Australia, which will be played at Headingley Cricket Ground, Leeds. There are no such changes in the Squad; Matthew Potts and Reham Ahmed has been dropped out from the Squad.
Ollie Pope, who did not perform well in the first two test matches, may get not be included in the playing11, but for the time being, he was retained in England’s Squad for the third Ashes Test match at Headingley despite having a shoulder injury at Lord’s.
Moeen Ali wasn’t replaced in the Squad, and most likely, he will be playing in the third Test after an injury to his finger. However, Rehan Ahmed was added to the Squad as a backup for Moeen Ali, but Now he has dropped out from the Squad.
Matthew Potts, who has played lots of cricket for England in the past years, has not been in the Squad for the third Ashes test. Chris Woakes and Mark Wood have been included in the Squad for the Headingley test, and they could provide more seam-bowling options in the Squad, despite the four Pacers playing at Lord’s.
England may pick Mark Wood for the third Test, but Youngster Josh Tongue has bowled well in the last test match at Lord’s, whereas Others are key bowlers of England Pcae Attack, So Chances are very less for them to play in the third Test.
Ben Stokes manages to bowl a few overs in the ashes of 2023, but he still manages to recover from his left-knee injury. After defeating England in the Second Test match at Lord’s, Australia is leading the series by 2-0.
England has three more matches, and they need to come back; otherwise, they could lose the important test series, and then it might be difficult for them to get into the WTC Final 2025. The Third Test Match is at Headingley, and they must win this match to save the series.
