CEAT Cricket Rating Award: The 2023 saw some exceptional performances at different levels. Hence, to celebrate all the top performers, CEAT, one of India’s leading tyre manufacturing brands, organised a glamorous event in Mumbai on Wednesday (August 21).

This was the 26th edition of the CEAT Cricket Rating award ceremony, which was held in Mumbai. The best performances in the Indian domestic circuit and at international levels were awarded at the event. This platform helps to unite the cricket fraternity and brings them all together.

From Virat Kohli to England’s Phil Salt, Mohammed Shami to Tim Southee, and Rohit Sharma to Rahul Dravid, all were rewarded for their incredible contributions to the game in the year 2023. So, let’s check out the list of award winners at the CEAT Cricket Rating awards held in Mumbai.

CEAT Cricket Rating Award: Rahul Dravid wins the Lifetime Achievement Award

CEAT Lifetime Achievement Award: Former Indian Head Coach Rahul Dravid received this award for his outstanding stint with India. Under his coaching, India played the finals of the ICC events across formats.

CEAT Men’s International Cricketer of the Year: Indian captain Rohit Sharma received this award for his excellent captaincy and also his individual brilliance. He was superb in the ODI World Cup 2023 with the bat and led India to the final.

CEAT Men’s ODI Batter of the Year: Virat Kohli received this award. He finished the ODI World Cup 2023 as the leading scorer and also broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries.

CEAT Men’s ODI Bowlers of the Year: Veteran Indian pacer Mohammed Shami received this award. Despite sitting out in the first three games of the ODI World Cup 2023, he finished with most wickets in the tournament.

CEAT Men’s Test Batter of the Year: Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has started his career with a bang. In his nine-match career, he has scored two double centuries already.

CEAT Men’s Test Bowlers of the Year: Ravi Ashwin received his award for his excellency in red-ball cricket. He is India’s leading wicket-taker in World Test Championship history.

CEAT Men’s T20I Batter of the Year: England’s Phil Salt has an excellent year in the shorter format, and he received this award at the CEAT Cricket Rating Award.

CEAT Men’s T20I Bowler of the Year: Kiwi Captain Tim Southee received this award for becoming the leading wicket-taker in T20Is and first bowler with 150 or more wickets in T20Is.

CEAT Domestic Cricketer of the Year: Orthodox spinner from Tamil Nadu Sai Kishore had an exceptional year at domestic level and won it at CEAT Cricket Rating Award.

CEAT Women’s Indian Batters of the Year: Smriti Mandhana had an excellent year across formats for India. She is the highest ranked Indian batter and won this award.

CEAT Women’s Indian Bowler of the Year: For her excellent contribution across formats, Deepti Sharma won this award.

Momento – Fastest Double Hundred in Women’s Test: Shefali Varma

Momento – Outstanding Leadership for TATA IPL: Shreyas Iyer won this award after leading KKR to their third IPL title in 2024.

CEAT Award for Excellence in Sports Administration: BCCI secretary Jay Shah received this award for his smooth operation and decision-making of the highest quality.
