A Very Disappointing performance by West Indies in the World Cup Qualifiers; they lost against Scotland by seven wickets. Scotland celebrated this historic victory against West Indies, Whereas Carribean Players looked sad after failing to qualify for the world cup 2023.
The outstanding performance by Brandon McMullen led his team almost to qualifying for the ODI World Cup. McMullen showed excellent cricket with both bat and ball, took three wickets, and also scored important 69 runs while chasing.

After winning the toss and Scotland choosing to field first, Scotland’s decision went in their favor as they stopped West Indies at 181 runs. McMullen quickly took the wicket of Johnson Charles and Shamarh Brooks for ducks, whereas Chris Sole sent Kyle Mayers into the pavilion.
WI batting collapsed, but Thankfully, A 77-run Crucial partnership between Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd led their team to a decent score.
While Chasing the Target, Scotland lost Christopher in the first ball of the second innings, but Brandon McMullen and Matthew Cross played wonderful cricket and showed good intent by rotating strikes and also hitting boundaries on length balls. McMullen scored 69 runs, whereas Matthew Cross finished the match by hitting four and scoring 74 runs.
