TATA IPL Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson has been an elite leader for the Rajasthan Royals.

The Rajasthan Royals are one of the franchises that have got their hands on the IPL trophy. They won the trophy in the first and inaugural season of the IPL and since then have failed to make a mark. The team has featured legends in the form of Rahul Dravid, Shane Watson, Brad Hodge, and Yusuf Pathan. With a very smart think tank and team management, the Royals will be looking to make a mark in IPL 2022. Here’s a look at the players that Rajasthan Royals will retain in IPL 2022: –

Rajasthan Royals will retain Sanju Samson in IPL 2022: –

Sanju Samson is one player that Rajasthan significantly relies upon and has trust in. The Kerala player has had the back of this franchise since 2013. Sanju gives them a good Indian batting option in the middle and if required at the top as well. Samson can score quickly in the powerplay and the death overs as well. He has scored 3 IPL hundreds and all have come for the Royals. He is their skipper for IPL 2021 and most probably will remain in the same position next year too.

Rajasthan Royals will retain Chetan Sakariya in IPL 2022: –

Chetan Sakariya is the package that has taken the IPL fans by surprise. Sakariya is living the dream of his life by playing supremely well for the franchise. He hails from Gujarat and his cutters and slower ones in the death overs are a treat to watch. Sakariya was bought at a low price and after the Sri Lanka series debut, he is most probably the Royals’ second pick.

Rajasthan Royals will retain Jofra Archer in IPL 2022: –

Rajasthan Royals are bound to retain Jofra Archer. He is the only genuinely quick bowler that they have in their squad and he has been picked for a decent price. Be it the start of a game or be it the death overs, Rajasthan heavily relies on Archer. Jofra hails from the Caribbean but has an English residency.

Rajasthan Royals will retain Ben Stokes in IPL 2022: –

Rajasthan Royals will retain Ben Stokes in the IPL. Ben has been their most dependent overseas commodity and with the abilities that Ben brings to the table, he is more than handy. His fielding is the best and so is his batting. He also gives a left-handed opening option. In each game, Ben at least will give you 2 overs.
