"We Stand With Pahalgam Victims": Suryakumar Yadav dedicates India's Win vs Pakistan to Armed Forces

India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the 6th match of the Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This match between India and Pakistan has been played under a lot of pressure and a lots of people were calling for a boycott, but still, the game continues, and India’s dominating performance against Pakistan wasn’t just a sporting achievement.

This victory by the Indians carried a message of solidarity and respect. After winning the match in Dubai, Indian Skipper Suryakumar Yadav made headlines by dedicating this win to the families affected by the Pahalgam terror attack and also to the Indian Armed Forces who stood there to keep us safe.

India won its second consecutive game in the Asia Cup 2025, and now, they have almost confirmed their spot in the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup 2025. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav played a fantastic knock of 47 runs and finished the game in style by hitting six on the last ball of the game.

Indian Skipper Suryakumar Yadav Expresses Solidarity with the Pahalgam Victims:

After winning the match, during the post-match presentation, skipper Suryakumar Yadav expressed his solidarity with the Pahalgam victims, and he said:

“We stand by the victims of the families of the Pahalgam terror attack. We express our solidarity. I want to dedicate the win to all our armed forces who showed a lot of bravery. Hope they continue to inspire us all, and we give them some reasons on the ground whenever we get an opportunity to make them smile.”

How did India clinch this victory against Pakistan?

After winning the toss, Pakistan batted first, but they failed to make a good total and were able to score 127 runs on the scoreboard with the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. It was a poor performance by Pakistan in this high-stake game; they kept losing wickets after a few balls, and no batter tried to make partnerships. However, Sahibzada Farhan and Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 40 and 33 runs, respectively, for their team.

Kuldeep Yadav strikes Pakistan with his googly, he took 3 crucial wickets in the match and led Pakistani batters from attacking mode to survival. Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel also got two wickets each whereas Hardik and Varun got one wicket each.

The Indian Team easily chased the target of 128 runs in 15.5 overs with the loss of 3 wickets. Abhishek Sharma took Pakistani bowlers in charge from the first ball of the inning and scored 31 runs in 13 balls. Then, Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav slowly built the innings and led the Indian Team to victory against the arch-rival Pakistan.

Pakistani bowlers leaked lots of runs, and the fielding was not up to the mark by the players, which gave the Indian Team to clearly dominate them. It was a one-sided game from the first inning itself when Pakistan lost two wickets in just 1.2 overs. The Player of the match was Kuldeep Yadav, who got three wickets.

Pakistan continues their poor performances in the tournaments, and now, they are going to play their next match against the UAE on September 17, 2025, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
