Here is a look at the top performances of the Undertaker.

There are only a few wrestlers in the WWE that have made sure that the fans remember them forever. Be it the legacy of Triple H and Shawn Michaels or the talents of John Cena and Randy Orton, the WWE remembers all of these amazing and charismatic athletes.  However, The Undertaker is one wrestler that every WWE follower will never forget under any circumstance. The Undertaker is one wrestler who has made sure to entertain 3 generations of the family. He has been involved in some of the most iconic matches. Here is a look at the top 5 matches featuring The Undertaker: –

5) Undertaker VS Kane WrestleMania 14: –

A WrestleMania match featuring The Undertaker is any day worth a mention in the top 5 list. However, this match cut. It was the first time Kane was taking part in a match at WrestleMania and the story that he was Undertaker’s brother had taken over. This match was back in 1998 and the physical nature of the match was second to none. Both the athletes beat the hell out of each other. Slamming the opponents off the turnbuckles, hitting him on the pole, and running after each other, the match witnessed it all. Eventually, the match ended with Kane getting a Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver at the hands of The Undertaker.

4) The Undertaker VS Triple H (Hell in a Cell) WrestleMania 28: –

This match is one match that deserves to be on the list of greatest matches of all time in the modern era of the WWE. This match was a Hell in a Cell event. It saw Triple H being determined to end the Undertaker’s unbeaten streak at WrestleMania. Shawn Michaels, the other half of Degeneration X already had tried beating Undertaker at WrestleMania 27 but it was all in vain and it ended Hunter’s career. With this being said and done, Shawn Michaels was the guest referee for the match.

When the match began, nobody expected that this was going to be so brutal and high intensity. Both the athletes beat out each other. They worked to wear down the opponent. Suplexes, High-flying moves, submission holds, and body slams. The veterans of the WWE franchise were putting up a great show. The match ended with The Undertaker winning via pinfall. All three athletes left the ring with arms around the shoulder of each other. And it is said to be “The end of an era” for the WWE.

3) Shawn Michaels VS The Undertaker (Hell in a Cell) Badd Blood 1997: –

The Hell in a Cell Matches featuring two of the greatest athletes of the WWE is always iconic. The Heart Break Kid and Undertaker were at the center of another such battle. When the battle began no one expected that they were truly in for one hell of a ride. The Undertaker began dominating the match by striking close lines on Shawn Michaels. Michaels retaliated with quick moves and showed his fast gameplay. A moment was looking dangerous when Undertaker slammed his boot to the face of the Heart Break Kid.

The other moment of the match came when HBK sprinted and dropped an elbow on the Undertaker who was lying outside the ring. Undertaker planted Shawn Michaels on a table outside the ring. Shawn tried to run by escaping and cutting open the cell but Undertaker caught him. He picked him on the shoulder and slammed his face in the cell., breaking it apart. In the end, HBK was in a blood bath but Kane showed up and helped him get the win.

2) Undertaker VS Mankind (Hell in a Cell) King of the Ring 1998: –

Who doesn’t remember this iconic gem? One can never forget The Undertaker giving Mankind a chokeslam through the top of the cage and onto the ring surface. Mankind couldn’t move after that and had to be stretchered off! In this rematch, the match began itself on the top of the cage. Mankind entered first and was waiting on top. Undertaker was the next entry to the ring and without a second thought, he too began climbing the cell! While going up Mankind did try to stop him by throwing a few punches but all of it went in vain. Undertaker came and both of them jabbed at each other at the top of the ring.

The steel chair and a kendo stick, both were placed at the top.  Mankind got hold of the chair and banged it into the Undertaker’s stomach. Then he took a blow at his back. The crowd went crazy when Undertaker came back in the game and pushed Mankind from the top of the cell through an announcer’s desk below! Once again Mankind stood up and went to the top only to get Chokeslamed to the mat! He pulled out the thumbtacks next and what was coming was unreal. The Undertaker threw Mankind through those thumbtacks!

1) Shawn Michaels VS The Undertaker WrestleMania 25: –

This match is the best in the history of the WWE. It garnered the most views for the WWE in that era! Shawn Michaels and Undertaker always have had a kind of never-ending feud. Both have been the honest servants of the WWE. On that night at WrestleMania, the match was simple. If Shawn Michaels loses, Triple H quits the WWE forever. If not Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak ends. And as every Undertaker VS Michaels match, it was extremely entertaining. In the end, Undertaker won via pinfall.
