Test all-rounder rankings: Big change in rankings, Ravindra Jadeja at top, Ashwin at second place All-rounders have always been a special force in Test cricket and the latest ICC rankings for 2024 have seen the dominance of Indian players.

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has topped the rankings with his brilliant form, while Ravichandran Ashwin is second. Three players from India are in the top 10 of this list, which shows the depth and balance of their team.

The dominance of Indian players is clearly visible in the Test all-rounder rankings 2024, where Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin are in the top two positions. This ranking shows how all-rounders make valuable contributions to their teams in cricket.

1. Ravindra Jadeja (India) 444 ratings

Ravindra Jadeja has performed brilliantly in recent months to make his way to the top spot. Jadeja, who achieved his career-best rating of 469 against England in Rajkot in 2024, is known for his all-round ability. His contribution in both bowling and batting has proved to be decisive for India.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin (India) 322 Rating

One of India’s leading spinners, Ashwin is in second place. Although his career-best rating of 492 was against England in Mohali in 2016, he still remains an important player for his team. His variety in bowling and balance in batting makes him a great all-rounder.

3. Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh) 303 Rating

Shakib Al Hasan is one of the most successful all-rounders in Test cricket. He achieved his career-best rating of 489 against Australia in Mirpur in 2017. Although recent performances have declined slightly, he still remains in the top three.

4. Joe Root (England) 282 rating

Former England captain Joe Root has also secured fourth place in the all-rounder rankings. He achieved his career-best rating of 313 against India in Hyderabad in 2024. Root is renowned for both his effective bowling and batting.

5. Jason Holder (West Indies) 270 rating

West Indies’ Jason Holder has played an important role for his team. He achieved his best rating of 485 against England in Southampton in 2020. Holder’s combination of bowling and batting makes him an important part of the team.

Other key all-rounders

Axar Patel (India) 269 rating, sixth place. He achieved his best rating of 316 against Australia in Ahmedabad in 2023.

Mehdi Hasan (Bangladesh) 263 rating, achieved his career-best rating against Pakistan in Rawalpindi recently.

Ben Stokes (England) – 250 rating, one of the most charismatic all-rounders in Test cricket. His best performance was in 2020 with a rating of 497 against West Indies at Old Trafford.
