The ninth edition of the women’s Asia Cup is all set to get underway. This Women Asia Cup 2024 will be held in Sri Lanka, and it will be played between 8 teams. The first edition took place in 2004, and the first four editions took place in the 50-over format. Since the fifth edition in 2012, it has been played in T20 format. The coming edition will also be played in the T20 format.
A total of 15 games will be played, starting on July 19, and the final will be held on July 28. All these games will take place at one venue: Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. India’s women’s team will be defending their title in the coming Womens Asia Cup 2024. They are the most successful, having won 7 out of 8 editions. Here is the detailed schedule and squads for all teams. Two groups are divided into four teams each. Two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals of the Womens Asia Cup 2024.
