Pakistan Strongest Probable Squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 | T20 World Cup 2024 Pakistan Squad: Recently, Pakistan Defeated Ireland in the three-match T20I series by 2-1. The Key players like Babar Azam, Mohd. Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi performed phenomenally in the T20I series against Ireland which is a massive boost for Pakistan ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 as they have struggled a lot in the last few months.
A month back, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reappointed Babar Azam as their skipper in the White-ball after Shaheen Shah Afridi failed to make a good impression in the bilateral series. But, Babar Azam led Pakistan in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand and the series ended with a draw of 2-2 and one match was washed out by rain.
Pakistan was playing with their key players against New Zealand, who had young and inexperienced players in their team but still, they defeated Pakistan in two games. Pakistan’s national cricket team has played poor cricket in the T20I series against New Zealand with both bat and ball however now, their key players are in quite good form.
Pakistan is going to play a four-match T20I series against England, this series is very crucial for both teams to prepare themselves before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 which will start on June 02. Pakistan has played a lot of T20I matches in the past few weeks and it will help their players a lot in the upcoming ICC tournament. But, All-rounders are still a huge concern for the team as they continuously failed to perform in the bilateral series.
Saim Ayub, Mohd. Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Azam Khan are expected batters in Pakistan’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. Most of the batters are in good form which is a positive sign for the Pakistan National Cricket Team. Babar Azam will be leading Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20I World Cup 2024 which will be played in the USA and West Indies.
Imad Wasim, Salman Ali Agha, Shadab Khan, and Iftikhar Ahmed are expected All-Rounders of the Pakistan Cricket Team in the T20 World Cup 2024. But, except Shadab Khan no other players have played for Pakistan in the recent matches which Pakistan’s team management should take seriously as all-rounders play a massive role in T20I cricket.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abbas Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohd. Amir and Haris Rauf will be the probable key bowlers of Pakistan in the upcoming ICC mega event. However, Haris Rauf hasn’t played any bilateral series for Pakistan in the last few months as he was in rehabilitation whereas all other bowlers were the part of team in the latest series against Ireland.
